Quantum 500 Steel smartphone belongs to a new generation of devices with increased resistance in a slim case. The device was designed for users who need efficient and sturdy devices without sacrificing interesting design.

Creating innovative solutions is a challenge for us, but it gives us a lot of satisfaction. In case of our new model, we mastered a difficult art of combining the modern with the functional. The distinguishing feature is a biometric reader securing the device. The power of 4 core processor supported with 2GB RAM LPDDR3 memory has been closed in a futuristic, slim casing with steel reinforcing elements. The durability of the device is guaranteed by international IP68 certification system which confirms an increased resistance to external conditions (water, dust) and mechanical damage.

Smartphones in the Rugged range are characterised by unique resistance. The IP code describes the degree of protection of the device, it is considered to be legal protection standard. For our Rugged phone, the first digit, 6, means that the device is completely protected against dust. The second digit, 8, indicates that the device can be immersed in water 1.5 m deep for a maximum of 30 minutes. Thanks to application of appropriate solutions you can always feel secure. This means increased resistance to dust, water, moist, changes of temperature, and shocks. Additional protection of the screen is provided by Gorilla Glass 3 coating which guarantees increased protection against scratching.

The phone has two built-in cameras: 13 Mpix (back) and 5 Mpix (front). Hybrid dual nanoSIM, 2 nanoSIM cards or one nanoSIM and one microSD card, microUSB port and 3.5 mm port for headphones. The most efficient Android 7.0 operates onboard. Four core MT6737 1.25 GHz processor and 2GB RAM memory are responsible for computing power. The device is equipped with the latest version of ANDROID which offers such innovations as:

- Full multitasking, that is the possibility of using two programmes at the same time..

- Better energy saving - improved version of Doze which detects when the phone is not needed, even when you are moving.

- A new system of notifications - notifications are shown in groups, thanks to which a few messages from one programme take up less space.

- A new menu of fast settings - after sliding it you can see five shortcuts and only a stronger gesture makes it possible to see all setting icons.

- Screen calibrator - the fast settings menu has definitely changed. After sliding it you can see five shortcuts and only a stronger gesture makes it possible to see all settings icons. Now the said menu is fully modifiable. You can add new shortcuts, delete them, and change their position using a swipe gesture.

- Adjusting the size of interface elements – done using a slide. The solution will be appreciated by users with weaker vision. If the font of the icon is too small, you can easily increase it.
